Position Overview

Delta Utilities Services, LLC is in search of a proactive and seasoned professional to take on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This leadership position is pivotal in steering all human resources initiatives and functions, ensuring that HR strategies are effectively aligned with the organization’s immediate and future business goals.

The CHRO will oversee a comprehensive range of activities, including talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion efforts, employee relations, performance management, compensation structures, benefits administration, HR information systems, training and development, as well as compliance and operational matters related to human resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and execute HR strategies that resonate with the organization’s overarching business objectives and cultural values.
  • Devise and implement talent acquisition strategies and employee engagement initiatives that nurture a high-performance culture and promote a sense of belonging among employees.
  • Lead the recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and integrate top-tier talent essential for organizational growth.
  • Manage performance management systems, including goal setting, evaluations, and development planning to foster continuous improvement.
  • Address employee relations challenges, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards during conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Design and manage compensation and benefits programs aimed at attracting, retaining, and motivating a skilled workforce.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational structure, and change management strategies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in human resources management, integrating insights into HR strategies.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related discipline is required; a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
  • A minimum of ten to fifteen years of professional experience in human resources, with at least eight years in a leadership role.
  • Relevant certifications such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP are advantageous.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR principles, best practices, and regulations, with a proven ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and cultivate high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building strong professional relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to align HR initiatives with business performance.
