Job Overview

Position Title: Senior Project Manager

Company Overview:

Mission Focused Systems Inc. (MFS) is in search of a dynamic and adaptable professional with exceptional multitasking skills to fulfill the role of a project manager and staff action officer. This position supports the objectives of USCENTCOM Requirements & Technology (R&T).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project initiatives, including the formulation of essential plans and governance documentation, stakeholder engagement, and progress reporting.
  • Facilitate internal communications within the Command and external interactions with stakeholders and government service providers.
  • Chair and engage in project-related meetings and working groups to advocate for CENTCOM interests, collaborate on vital project outputs, and address significant challenges and risks.
  • Assist in organizing logistical arrangements for project meetings, reviews, and virtual conferences.
  • Coordinate resources for Operational Demonstrations and field evaluations.
  • Support financial management, budget development, and expenditure tracking.
  • Draft project briefs, white papers, and other relevant documentation as necessary.
  • Foster partnerships with government entities, national laboratories, industry, academia, and international partners to synchronize RDT&E efforts, mitigate risks, and secure additional program support.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the R&T office as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (Engineering preferred but not mandatory).
  • 10 to 12 years of experience in a related domain.
  • Proven experience in project leadership.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within integrated teams.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen eligible for a U.S. Security Clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Military background.
  • Experience with Combatant Command staff.
  • Expertise in Science & Technology (project execution, testing, evaluation, etc.).
  • Experience with Navy prototyping and experimentation.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance is mandatory.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
