Role Summary:

The Senior IT Project Manager achieves objectives through the oversight of projects that align with the goals and key results of the Workforce Strategy. This role sets and maintains standards that guide operational practices, requiring a profound understanding of how various areas interconnect within the function and contribute to the overall objectives of the organization. Strong communication and diplomatic skills are essential for guiding, influencing, and persuading colleagues and stakeholders. The individual will be responsible for planning, building consensus, and executing Workforce Strategy initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulates comprehensive plans, timelines, project estimates, resource allocations, and progress reports.
  • Engages with senior project personnel and management teams regarding project statuses.
  • Proposes and supervises enhancements to processes.
  • Exerts significant business influence through thorough evaluation of intricate business processes, system workflows, and standards.
  • Offers expertise in the field and possesses an advanced understanding of project leadership principles.
  • Maintains a holistic understanding of how their area and others (e.g., Business Execution, HR, Talent & Development) work together to achieve business goals.
  • Directly influences business outcomes by shaping strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel, or provided services.
  • Conducts in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to identify issues and devise innovative solutions.
  • Persuades and influences others through comprehensive communication and diplomatic skills.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in a relevant technology or project/program management role.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint).
  • Exhibits clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, particularly in interactions with senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver high-quality work within strict deadlines.
  • Effective negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Preferred knowledge of Financial Services or Banking Technology.
  • Experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, and Tableau is advantageous.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
