Key Contributions:

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in steering security projects that align with the strategic objectives and requirements of the organization. You will lead the initiation, planning, execution, and successful delivery of security compliance projects, ensuring they are completed within the established timelines and budgetary constraints.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the comprehensive lifecycle of security compliance projects for both cloud-based and on-premises solutions, ensuring compliance with StateRAMP, FedRAMP, NIS2, ISO standards, and other relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, including legal, sales engineering, engineering, and cloud operations, as well as external partners and vendors, to achieve security compliance objectives.
  • Stay informed about StateRAMP, FedRAMP, NIS2, ISO standards, and other pertinent regulations, ensuring that the organization's products and processes meet these requirements.
  • Oversee relationships with external vendors and laboratories, ensuring that all security testing and validation processes adhere to necessary standards.
  • Create and maintain thorough documentation for all security compliance activities. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, to provide updates on compliance status and associated risks.
  • Work with legal teams to comprehend and integrate legal requirements into compliance initiatives. Provide technical insights to support legal compliance efforts.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to security compliance, ensuring proactive management of potential issues.
  • Assist in addressing customer inquiries regarding compliance, providing accurate and timely information to bolster customer confidence in our compliance posture.
  • Possess a solid understanding of cloud technologies and providers, applying this expertise to security compliance initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent professional experience. Advanced degrees or certifications in security or compliance are advantageous.
  • Over 10 years of experience in technical program management, specifically focusing on security compliance for cloud and on-premises products.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale security compliance projects, including StateRAMP, FedRAMP, NIS2, ISO standards, and other relevant regulations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects concurrently across various geographical locations.
  • Basic understanding of legal considerations related to security compliance, with experience collaborating with legal teams on regional and compliance needs across different sectors.
  • Experience managing external vendors and laboratories for security compliance initiatives.
  • Strong grasp of cloud technologies and providers, applying this knowledge to compliance projects.
  • High adaptability and flexibility, along with conflict management skills.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and politically savvy.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.

CommScope Inc. offers a competitive salary range that considers various factors, including benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is competitive and commensurate with experience.
