Senior Security Program Manager

Your Role in Shaping Connectivity:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing security projects that align with the strategic objectives of the organization. You will drive the initiation, planning, execution, and successful delivery of security compliance initiatives, ensuring projects are completed within the designated timelines and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the comprehensive lifecycle of security compliance projects for both cloud-based and on-premises solutions, ensuring compliance with StateRAMP, FedRAMP, NIS2, ISO standards, and other relevant regulations.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments, including legal, sales engineering, product development, and cloud operations, as well as external partners and vendors, to achieve security compliance objectives.
- Stay informed about StateRAMP, FedRAMP, NIS2, ISO standards, and other pertinent regulations, ensuring that our products and processes adhere to these requirements.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors and testing laboratories, ensuring that all security assessments and validations meet established standards.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation for all security compliance activities. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive management, to provide updates on compliance status and associated risks.
- Work alongside legal teams to comprehend and integrate legal requirements into compliance projects, offering technical insights to support legal compliance efforts.
- Identify and address risks related to security compliance proactively, ensuring potential issues are managed effectively.
- Assist in addressing customer inquiries regarding compliance, providing accurate and timely information to bolster customer confidence in our compliance posture.
- Possess a solid understanding of cloud technologies and service providers, applying this expertise to security compliance initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent professional experience. Advanced degrees or certifications in security or compliance are advantageous.
- Over 10 years of experience in technical program management, particularly focused on security compliance for cloud and on-premises solutions.
- Demonstrated experience leading extensive security compliance initiatives, including StateRAMP, FedRAMP, NIS2, ISO standards, and other relevant regulations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects concurrently across various geographical locations.
- Basic understanding of legal aspects related to security compliance, with experience collaborating with legal teams on regional and compliance requirements across different sectors.
- Experience managing external vendors and laboratories for security compliance projects.
- Strong grasp of cloud technologies and providers, leveraging this knowledge for compliance projects.
- High adaptability and flexibility, along with conflict management skills.
- Self-motivated, self-directed, and politically astute.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
At CommScope, we recognize that compensation is influenced by various factors, including benchmarking by independent consultants, skill sets, years of experience, education, geography, and other business needs. The expected total compensation for this position ranges from $135,000 to $176,200, depending on experience and demonstrated success. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision plans, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company's Incentive Plan. New employees are eligible for paid holidays and vacation time, along with other leave options.
