Northrop Grumman's Missions Systems sector is in search of a Senior Supply Chain Program Manager to oversee the Machinery or Launcher Programs based at our facility.

This role offers a hybrid work schedule with potential remote options for highly qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:


Lead the Program team as a Senior Supply Chain Program Manager for initiatives related to the production of Machinery propulsion and power generation hardware or Launcher hardware.

The primary goal is to fulfill all contractual obligations on budget and on time, while meeting all technical specifications and fostering customer relationships to enhance value creation strategies.

Responsibilities include guiding a team of Supply Chain Program Managers and collaborating across Global Supply Chain and other departments to ensure cost, technical, and schedule performance.

Engage in risk management and address uncertainties associated with production startups, swiftly resolving issues to meet program goals.

Occasional travel may be necessary for technical reviews, meetings, and collaborative efforts.
Senior Supply Chain Program Managers are accountable for all phases of the supply chain lifecycle from inception (proposal development) through execution and completion (contract closeout), including but not limited to:

Responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and service requirements for a collection of Programs.

Act as the primary liaison for the Program Management Office (PMO) concerning the entire supply chain, coordinating cross-functionally to ensure all supply chain commitments are fulfilled and that appropriate mitigation strategies are developed and implemented to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers.

Formulate the material strategy and lead activities for Supply Chain in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP).

Ensure that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have comprehensive and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontract strategies.

Oversee supply chain Program execution and take responsibility for resource planning, material costs, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and resolution of supply chain issues.

Provide updates to the PMO and executive management regarding the status and challenges affecting Program cost and schedule performance.

Develop and adhere to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools.

Identify, allocate, and manage team resources, including workforce planning.
Conduct thorough risk & opportunity management practices, including identification, mitigation, and realization.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience (7+ years with a Master's) in manufacturing/operations, supply chain, business, or program management
Minimum of 5 years in a formal lead and/or direct management role
Familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements and flow downs
DoD experience
Advanced knowledge of supply chain management techniques, practices, processes, tools, and planning.
Strong communication, strategic, innovative, and critical thinking skills
Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Proficiency in MS Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the 3 Element Approach to Supplier Performance Management
High proficiency with SAP, particularly Supply Chain/MRP transactions
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas, and report generation
Experience and/or knowledge in a manufacturing environment

Salary Range:
$149,400 - $246,400

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers various factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
