The Role

Proofpoint is looking for a well-rounded Sr. Web Program Manager to support its global website initiatives. We are looking for someone detail-oriented, with effective communication and project management skills that can ensure the timely completion of web projects.

The Senior Web Program Manager will be the main point of contact for providing updates and status on website initiatives as well as setting clear expectations and deadlines with all relevant stakeholders. This role will report to the Senior Director of Digital Marketing and will work closely with the web developers on the team to ensure that project requirements are properly documented (and not submitted as incomplete), all applicable source files are sent over, and deadlines from stakeholders are met. Clear and proactive communication is critical as this role is providing marketing leadership visibility into progress being made on the website as well identifying solutions to blockers for these projects.

Your day-to- day

  • Work closely with the web development team to plan, implement, and oversee Proofpoint website projects from initiation to completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing leadership and other stakeholders regarding project status, updates, and challenges.
  • Proactively communicate to the broader marketing organization the status and KPIs of all website initiatives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional, global teams including digital marketing, web development, content creators, creative services, demand generation, and PR.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among internal partners and global teams.
  • Manage timelines, achievements, and track progress against established goals.
  • Ensure all web requests are properly vetted for clear instructions and that appropriate deliverables are given at the time of submission.
  • Actively drive process improvements across multiple functions within the team.

What you bring to the team

  • At least 7 years leading planning, resource management, project lifecycles, and workflows in a dynamic web and/or marketing organization.
  • Strong familiarity and experience with common web development practices, technology, languages and development milestones.
  • Deep understanding of website localization processes, tools and reviews.
  • Experience with creating effective processes that provide easy stakeholder visibility as well as holding individual contributors accountable.
  • Good project management and strong attention to detail is a must. Shown success with prioritizing and delivering projects on time and on budget.
  • Good communication skills, especially with senior leadership. Must be able to speak in detail about each on-going project including milestones, blockers and expected ETA.
