What You Will Do

Under specific direction, you'll be responsible for selling Johnson Controls service offerings to owners, primarily at the Director level. You'll promote our value proposition by providing technical solutions and operational expertise, building and managing long-term customer relationships, and seeking out, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities.

How You Will Do It

  • You'll sell our offerings persuasively, persistently, and confidently to building owners at the D-level while reaching optimal profit levels.
  • You'll focus on improving existing buildings to allow owners to achieve business objectives.
  • You'll manage ongoing opportunities, particularly focusing on selling services and retrofits.
  • You'll sell, renew, and expand renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing customers.
  • You'll build partnering relationships with owners or owner representatives responsible for decision-making processes.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of six years of progressive field sales experience
  • At least one year of successfully selling HVAC or building automation system service or projects
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity and quality in business
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence account decision-makers at key levels
