What you will be responsible for:

Under general supervision, you will oversee the promotion and sale of Johnson Controls' Design/Build Mechanical Retrofit solutions to key decision-makers such as Facility Directors, C-suite executives, and Vice Presidents. Your role will involve articulating the unique value proposition of our offerings to building owners and end users by delivering both business and technical solutions. You will establish and nurture long-term relationships with customers within your designated accounts and opportunities. Collaborating with local market sales teams, project development engineers, and project leaders, you will work to convert leads into contracts for Design/Build Mechanical Retrofit projects, while maximizing the full range of Johnson Controls products and services to enhance our market share.

How you will achieve this:

· Engage in the sales process with minimal oversight, effectively presenting the Johnson Controls Design/Build Mechanical Retrofit offerings to building owners at the executive level, ensuring optimal profitability within your assigned accounts. Your focus will be on enhancing both existing and new facilities to help building owners meet their business goals. You will also work to expand our product offerings and secure new service agreements, including multi-year contracts, with prospective clients.

· Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets for annual Prime Retrofit sales within your accounts and markets, while also achieving specified margin goals.

· Cultivate strong partnerships with decision-makers or their representatives to facilitate the sale of Johnson Controls' Design/Build Mechanical Retrofit solutions.

· Address the operational and environmental needs of customers, recommending tailored solutions that align with their objectives and highlight our competitive advantages. You will differentiate our services from competitors through innovative and creative approaches in your sales strategy.

· Foster a mentoring relationship with an Account Executive within your branch to support their professional growth as a Design/Build Mechanical Retrofit sales expert, ultimately enhancing their productivity.

· Collaborate across various domains to identify and close opportunities related to Design/Build Mechanical Retrofit projects.

· Emphasize performance-based agreements in your sales approach.

What we seek:

· A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline.

· A minimum of 2 years of experience in executive-level sales within the Design/Build Mechanical Retrofit sector.

· At least 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry.

· Proven experience in selling advanced analytics and integrated digital solutions.

· A strong commitment to integrity and quality in business practices.

· Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.

· A demonstrated ability to influence key market stakeholders.

· Proficiency in operating within assigned vertical market segments.

· Familiarity with Microsoft Suite Applications and various reporting tools, including financial, market share, Salesforce, and BI tools (Word, Excel, Access, Teams, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SharePoint).

COMPENSATION: The annual base salary ranges from $55K to $70K, with additional target incentive earnings. Salary will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market data alignment. This role includes a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that considers project, quarterly, and annual margins, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
