About the Role:

The People Brand is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to drive the growth and development of our portfolio brands in the Americas marketplace. As the Executive Director of Brand Development, you will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive plan to launch, incubate, and scale our brands across the Americas, leveraging your expertise in sport and lifestyle brands, outdoor, athletic, and footwear industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive growth and expansion of our portfolio brands in the Americas marketplace.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to launch and incubate new brands, leveraging your expertise in commercial planning, sales, and marketing.
  • Collaborate with global, regional, and external partners to drive growth and expansion of our portfolio brands.
  • Manage a team of direct sales, license, and distributor partnerships across a diverse group of products, channels, and markets.
  • Deliver and manage new commercial relationships with our portfolio brands to incubate, authenticate, and scale brand impact with consumers in the US and Canada.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in sport and lifestyle brands, with a focus on outdoor, athletic, and footwear industries.
  • Proven track record of strategic planning and execution in category and/or brand development.
  • Commercial US sales experience managing strategic channels and key accounts in apparel, footwear, and accessories.
  • Leadership experience in matrixed environments, with a focus on driving strategic progress and leveraging diverse stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an enterprise mindset, with the ability to build for the future and leverage global operating models.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $200,000 - $250,000 per year.
