QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Prior Experience in Customer Service (2 years preferred)
  • Prior Experience in Animal Nutrition Issues (2 years preferred)
  • Strong mathematical skills required
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure effective interaction with other department staff and senior management
  • Organizational skills to guarantee that all documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed
  • Critical thinking skills to identify issues and resolve them with minimal guidance
  • Accountability and integrity to ensure compliance with all SQF and GMP policies, reporting mistakes or errors immediately, and avoiding shortcuts to save time
  • Significant analytical skills to collect and summarize data, identify solutions to various administrative challenges, and prioritize tasks

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is collaborating with an Agricultural Business in their search for an Animal Nutrition Sales Support Coordinator. The Animal Nutrition Sales Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting both internal and external sales teams.

The individual will leverage their customer service and nutrition expertise to aid in areas such as sales assistance, formulation entry, and pricing evaluation to deliver exceptional service to the team and their clientele.


Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers in person or via phone to evaluate Animal Feed Needs and Forage Quality
  • Enter, update, and review formulations from External Sales and Independent Consultants
  • Act as the Primary Customer Service Expert for Customer Complaints and Sales/Service Issues
  • Update Weekly Pricing
  • Set up new items in Microsoft GP
  • Establish new customers in Microsoft GP
  • Process receiving documentation for incoming bulk and bagged ingredients
  • Provide quotes to customers and consultants as requested
  • Support the internal sales department in various research tasks utilizing Smartlist Reports
