Position Overview

Abacus Technology Corporation is looking for a Cybersecurity Operations Manager to deliver comprehensive cyber defense, compliance, and information assurance services. This role is essential for safeguarding our information systems and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including those from DISA, DoD, and Air Force.
  • Collaborate with leadership to provide insights on risk management and acceptance.
  • Prepare and present briefings on the organization's cyber security posture to senior management.
  • Utilize eMASS for the upkeep of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation.
  • Guide and approve RMF submissions to ensure security compliance.
  • Regularly evaluate security controls to maintain robust defenses.
  • Ensure the maintenance of Authority-to-Operate (ATO) and Authority-to-Connect (ATC) for both classified and unclassified networks.
  • Review guidelines from various agencies, including NIST and DISA, to recommend secure solutions for network operations.
  • Oversee preparations for Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI) and Cyber Operations Readiness Assessments (CORA).
  • Employ tools such as ACAS, ARAD, and Forescout for vulnerability assessments of network infrastructure.
  • Conduct reviews and implement DISA STIGs on both Windows and Linux systems, while managing Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for compliance issues.
  • Administer the DoD 8140 cyberspace workforce program, ensuring appropriate access for system administrators.
  • Lead the cybersecurity team, providing direction and support to personnel and system administrators across the organization.
  • Address network violations and oversee remediation efforts.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred. Certification in one of the following is required: CAP, CASP, CISM, GSLC, or CISSP. Experience with the certification and accreditation process is essential, along with significant expertise in vulnerability scanning and management. Familiarity with intrusion prevention systems and network access controls is necessary. Experience with classified systems and understanding of security audit principles are critical. A strong grasp of security policies and processes, particularly within the DoD framework, is required. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in network infrastructure, mission assurance, and both Windows and Linux operating systems. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to engage with all organizational levels and deliver presentations to stakeholders. Candidates should be self-motivated, capable of managing multiple tasks, and able to work collaboratively with a diverse team. U.S. citizenship and a current Secret clearance are mandatory.
