Position Overview

Abacus Technology Corporation is in search of a Cybersecurity Operations Manager to deliver comprehensive cyber defense, compliance, and information assurance services. This role is critical in supporting our mission to safeguard sensitive information and ensure robust security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies to meet compliance standards for both unclassified and classified networks, adhering to all relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to assess and accept risks associated with cybersecurity measures.
  • Prepare and present briefings to senior management regarding the organization's cyber security posture and submit necessary reports.
  • Utilize eMASS for the upkeep and management of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation.
  • Provide expert guidance and approval for RMF submissions.
  • Conduct regular assessments of security controls to ensure effectiveness.
  • Maintain the Authority-to-Operate (ATO) and Authority-to-Connect (ATC) statuses for all network classifications.
  • Review and integrate guidance from various agencies to recommend approved solutions for network security.
  • Oversee preparedness and compliance for Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI) and Cyber Operations Readiness Assessments (CORA).
  • Employ tools such as ACAS, ARAD, and Forescout for conducting vulnerability assessments on network devices.
  • Review and implement DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for both Windows and Linux systems, while monitoring and addressing vulnerability compliance issues.
  • Manage the DoD 8140 cyberspace workforce program, ensuring proper validation of system administrator access.
  • Lead the cybersecurity office, providing direction and support to cyber personnel and system administrators.
  • Enforce network compliance and address any violations promptly.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • One of the following certifications: CAP, CASP, CISM, GSLC, or CISSP.
  • Experience with the certification and accreditation processes.
  • Significant expertise in vulnerability scanning and analysis, including the use of automated tools.
  • Knowledge of intrusion prevention systems and network access control mechanisms.
  • Experience with classified systems and an understanding of both network and physical security protocols.
  • A solid grasp of system audit principles and security risk assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of security policies and network security processes as defined by the DoD.
  • Proficiency in network infrastructure, mission assurance, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with all organizational levels and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • U.S. citizenship and a current Secret clearance are required.

Selected candidates will undergo a U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
