Position Overview

Abacus Technology Corporation is in search of a Cybersecurity Operations Manager to deliver comprehensive cyber defense, regulatory compliance, and information assurance services. This role is essential for supporting our mission and requires a full-time, on-site commitment.

Key Responsibilities


• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations for both unclassified and classified networks.


• Collaborate with leadership to assess risk acceptance and provide briefings on the organization's cyber posture, along with necessary reporting.


• Utilize the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (EMASS) to maintain and update the Risk Management Framework (RMF) package, ensuring regular assessments of security controls.


• Analyze guidance from various authoritative bodies, including NIST and DoD, to recommend approved network solutions.


• Oversee preparedness and compliance for Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI) and Cyber Operations Readiness Assessments (CORA).


• Conduct vulnerability assessments using tools such as ACAS, ARAD, and Forescout to evaluate network device security.


• Implement and review DISA Standard Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for both Windows and Linux systems.


• Monitor and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to address and mitigate compliance vulnerabilities.


• Administer the DoD 8140 cyberspace workforce program, ensuring proper validation of system administrator access.


• Lead the cybersecurity office, providing strategic direction and support to cyber personnel and system administrators.


• Enforce policies regarding network violations and oversee remediation efforts.

Qualifications


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance.


• Valid CompTIA Security+ certification.


• One of the following certifications is required: CAP, CASP, CISM, GSLC, or CISSP.


• Proven experience with certification and accreditation processes.


• Extensive experience in vulnerability scanning and analysis, including the use of automated tools.


• Familiarity with intrusion detection and prevention systems, as well as network access controls.


• Experience with classified systems and knowledge of both network and physical security protocols.


• Understanding of system audit principles and network security risk assessments.


• Strong grasp of security policies and processes as they relate to DoD operations.


• Solid knowledge of network infrastructure, mission assurance, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).


• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with various organizational levels.


• Strong multitasking abilities, self-motivation, and experience working collaboratively with diverse teams.


• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and possess a current Secret clearance.
