Role of the Customer Service Representative:
This position is integral to supporting the sales process by managing customer orders through order entry and basic account management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technological and communication skills, along with a strong commitment to customer service. Experience in a manufacturing or related field is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with both internal and external clients to gather customer details and product specifications.
- Receive and review purchase orders from clients via various communication channels, ensuring accuracy before confirmation.
- Input new purchase orders into the system tailored to specific jobs and customer needs, including any delivery or shipping instructions.
- Coordinate the routing of supplies, job jackets, and materials necessary for production.
- Handle inquiries and complaints promptly, demonstrating excellent service and follow-through.
- Prioritize tasks effectively, selecting the best options to meet business needs.
- Process shipping tickets and initiate billing, ensuring accuracy against packing lists and customer transaction reports.
- Consistently strive to exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications:
- One to two years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training.
- Preferred experience in a manufacturing or similar setting, particularly in the printing or packaging industry.

- Competence in basic mathematical calculations and the use of measurement tools.
- Physical requirements include regular sitting and occasional standing or walking.
