As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing inquiries from clients and providers through various communication channels, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and state regulations as well as client directives.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle incoming calls and return missed calls.
Respond to emails from clients, providers, and internal departments.
Examine the provider's historical data in proprietary systems.
Collaborate with Supervisors or other departments to clarify responses to inquiries.
Engage with providers to discuss findings at the appropriate level.
Maintain necessary reports and spreadsheets.
Demonstrate punctuality and consistent attendance.
Manage mail processing and scanning of medical documentation.
Assist in the creation and upkeep of provider panels and spreadsheets.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
Understanding of Workers Compensation fee schedules and regulations.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple tasks.
Attention to detail is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with medical terminology and coding.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in customer service within Managed Care and Benefit Administration is advantageous.
COMPENSATION:
CorVel employs a market-driven approach to compensation, and salary ranges may differ based on your location.
Compensation rates are determined by factors such as:
federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, geographic location differentials, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions.
Salary ranges may be adjusted at any time.For roles with levels (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.), new hires may be assigned to a different level based on an assessment during the interview process, considering experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.
The level may influence the salary range, and these adjustments will be clarified during the offer process.Pay Rate:
$22.36 per hour.
