Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Portland Glass Corporate. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring customer expectations are exceeded and resolving customer escalations in a professional and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Store Management: Oversee the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Team Leadership: Proactively coach and develop team members to ensure success in their respective roles, identifying opportunities for recognition and development.
- Inventory Management: Purchase inventory and products to sufficiently service customers, ensuring efficiency while staying within budget.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all employees and team members adhere to Portland Glass safety standards, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years' prior experience in retail/shop management required, glass/skilled labor experience a plus.
- Skills: Ability to multi-task, exhibits flexibility and commitment to teamwork, displays a professional image, enthusiastically leads others, must have a valid Driver's License, must have OSHA-10 certification or the ability to obtain one through Portland Glass, proficient in Microsoft Office, strong communication and customer service skills.
- Education: High school diploma/GED is required, associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, sit, and climb stairs; must be able to lift minimum of 75 pounds.
Benefits
- Pay: Based on experience. Annual bonus of up to $9,500.
- Schedule: Full-time, with some Saturday availability.
