Job Description
This role is for a Technical Account Executive - Scientific Instruments who will be responsible for promoting, developing and selling our scientific instrument, software, reagent and service portfolios. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience selling biochemical and biophysical analysis instrumentation, is passionate about excellent communication and customer relationship skills, and has the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing geographical sales territories, identifying customer needs, and developing strategies to target top accounts with high impact activity. You will also use strategic selling techniques to uncover customer needs and sell throughout the hierarchy of a company and academic institution.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have 3+ years of experience selling scientific capital equipment, a science degree, and excellent organizational and time/territory management skills. You should also have previous experience with CRM software (SFDC preferred) and be able to read your target audience and adjust communication style accordingly. In addition, you should be able to work collaboratively with others towards a common goal, be self-motivated and focused on driving commercial success, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Salary
The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
