Sales Representative for Biotech Company
Drug Hunter is seeking a skilled and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in Greater Boston. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing new and existing relationships with biotech companies, identifying opportunities, and closing deals. This role requires strong sales expertise, product knowledge, and interpersonal skills to succeed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
About the Role
This position will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance client experience and product satisfaction. A successful candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively teach customers about the benefits of Drug Hunter's services. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in new product sales, ideally in a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage new and existing relationships with biotech companies to identify opportunities and close deals
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance client experience and product satisfaction
- Maintain high-quality records including in CRM, provide regular reporting on account performance, and provide forecasts to senior leadership
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with members, acting as primary point of contact for assigned accounts to ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 4-5 years experience in B2B sales, including 4+ years of closing and full-cycle sales experience
- Track record of success in new product sales, ideally in a startup environment
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline, or industry drug discovery experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical company are nice-to-have but not required
Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this role is $180,000 - $250,000, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with employer match.
