Position: Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Greater Chicago (SW Suburb onsite)

Role Summary:

As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will play a vital role in shaping our HR strategies to align with the overarching goals of Knowhirematch. This position is essential in fostering collaboration and developing innovative solutions that support our workforce and advance our mission.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work alongside the HR Leadership Team to design and implement forward-thinking people strategies that resonate with our company’s vision. Your insights will be instrumental in translating strategic goals into actionable plans.
  • Expert Guidance: Serve as a trusted advisor in Employee Relations, ensuring that we navigate challenges effectively while adhering to compliance standards. Your expertise will be key in minimizing risks and ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Change Leadership: Facilitate organizational change by empowering leaders and managers to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment. Your guidance will be crucial in helping teams embrace transformation.
  • Talent Development: Collaborate with management to identify talent needs and promote internal growth, ensuring our teams are equipped to meet future challenges. Your efforts will be pivotal in cultivating a skilled workforce.
  • Performance Enhancement: Develop and execute HR strategies aimed at improving performance and aligning with both short-term and long-term business objectives. Your contributions will significantly influence our organizational success.
  • Corporate Partnership: Collaborate with Corporate Centers of Excellence (COEs) to align on leadership development, compensation, and staffing strategies. Together, you will foster a cohesive approach that supports our organizational objectives.
  • Program Leadership: Oversee the apprenticeship program to ensure it meets business needs and contributes to the development of future professionals in our industry.
  • Operational Support: Provide essential support for HR operations, including the Performance Management system, and assist senior HR leadership with reports and key projects that drive our initiatives forward.
  • Project Management: Lead HR projects that yield measurable business results, ensuring timely completion and adherence to high standards. Your leadership will be critical in achieving project objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing context
  • Willingness to work onsite in a collaborative environment
  • Proven ability to manage complex employee relations in a manufacturing setting
  • Thorough understanding of HR functions, including compensation, employee relations, and performance management
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with a focus on data management
  • A proactive work style that thrives in a team-oriented atmosphere
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • PHR certification preferred, but enthusiasm and drive are highly valued
