Position Overview:
Our client, a long-standing entity within the specialized legal printing sector, is seeking a Print Production Coordinator. This role is essential in managing various aspects of print production, including job setup, binding, and finishing processes.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM, with additional hours as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and maintain the print production timetable
  • Organize and supervise the upkeep and repairs of printing and binding machinery
  • Prepare printing files using Adobe and Freeflow software
  • Review and adjust printing proofs to ensure quality for the entire print run
  • Assist in pre-production setup and manage project workflows
  • Configure print jobs on perfect binders and saddle stitchers
  • Create shipping labels and manage inventory supplies
  • Respond to client inquiries via email and phone
  • Ensure documents meet printing compliance standards
  • Coordinate local deliveries and filings
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary
  • Valid driver's license
The ideal candidate will possess a genuine interest in contributing to a small business and a desire to develop professionally within the organization. A background or interest in the legal field is highly advantageous.

Compensation: $22-26 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term disability, group life insurance, paid holidays, and paid time off. After three years, eligibility for a SEP retirement plan with significant contributions to a fully vested IRA account.
