Position Overview

The Adult Faith Formation Coordinator will oversee various ministries, including the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults and other outreach initiatives, collaborating closely with clergy, catechetical leaders, and the wider parish community. This position aims to cultivate a vibrant community that nurtures faith development at all stages of life, with a particular focus on adults.

This role will work in conjunction with the Director of Faith Formation for Children and Families to ensure a cohesive approach to spiritual education. Responsibilities will include promoting evangelistic activities such as ALPHA programs, mission trips, pilgrimages, and scripture study groups to enhance discipleship among both the baptized and those exploring faith.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct adult faith formation programs.
  • Engage the parish community in various evangelization efforts.
  • Utilize digital and print media for communication and faith formation, including the parish website and bulletin.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Theology, Ministry, or a related field is preferred. Experience in evangelization, adult faith formation, and the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults is also desirable.
