Human Resources Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Director to join our team at Tara Investments. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our hotel properties in the Charleston, SC area.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all aspects of HR and payroll for our hotel properties, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with property-level managers to ensure effective communication and implementation of HR initiatives.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of employee data, including personnel files, benefits enrollment, and payroll information.
- Provide training and support to property-level managers on HR-related topics, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless delivery of HR services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements and new initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in a hospitality or hotel industry setting.
- Proven track record of success in HR leadership, including experience with recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including Title VII, ADA, and FLSA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including property-level managers, employees, and external vendors.
- Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for process improvements and new initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
