Director of Human Resources

CarSaver Management LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of People Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build and retain a best-in-class team through exceptional HR operations and communications.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of our hiring, on-boarding, and off-boarding process, including designing and executing staff training, professional development, and employee well-being initiatives.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and directives to ensure compliance with federal and state legislation, as well as industry best practices.
- Oversee the Human Resource Generalist position and ensure all staff have job descriptions consistent with their responsibilities.
- Manage internal communications related to HR policies, performance management, and general operations, including maintaining the organization's annual calendar.
- Work with the General Counsel and outside firms to ensure compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a professional designation (SHRM, PHR, CPTD) preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in developing and maintaining a healthy organizational culture in an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented environment.
- Extensive experience with traditional human resource management, including knowledge of State & Federal laws affecting human resources administration.
- Ability to effectively and independently help staff navigate employment questions and HR matters by suggesting effective solutions and/or elevating challenges or concerns.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate professionally with outside vendors.
- Ability to work collaboratively and inclusively with staff at all levels of the organization, from the most junior to the most senior.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work activities, complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner with a minimum of direction.
- Ability to take ownership and be creative and solutions-oriented when encountering challenges that don't have obvious answers.
- Demonstrated commitment to bringing an equity lens to the hiring process.
- Ability to handle sensitive HR situations with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Sense of humor and a flexible, positive attitude.
- Salary range for this position is $95,000 - $105,000, with an excellent benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, a 401(k) match, generous paid vacation and sick leave, an employee vehicle purchase plan, and more.
