Job Overview

The Jonus Group is in search of a licensed Property & Casualty professional who is committed, detail-oriented, and driven to succeed as a Commercial Lines Producer.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid P&C License
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline (preferred)
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CPCU or CIC are advantageous
  • Demonstrated success in business development and sales within the insurance sector
  • Familiarity with insurance software and proficiency in Microsoft Office

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue potential clients in the commercial market
  • Build and nurture relationships with business leaders and decision-makers to generate leads
  • Participate in industry events and seminars to remain informed about market dynamics
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' businesses to ascertain their insurance needs
  • Assess risks related to clients' operations and assets
  • Collaborate with underwriting and risk management teams to create tailored insurance proposals
  • Develop and present customized insurance solutions that meet clients' specific requirements
  • Simplify complex insurance concepts for clients' understanding
  • Offer expert guidance on coverage options, policy limits, and deductibles
  • Solicit quotes from insurance providers based on clients' profiles
  • Negotiate terms and pricing to secure optimal coverage for clients
  • Evaluate and compare various insurance alternatives to provide informed recommendations
  • Prepare precise insurance applications, proposals, and contracts
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in all client documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details
  • Foster long-term client relationships built on trust and reliability
  • Provide continuous support, address inquiries, and manage policy adjustments
  • Conduct regular reviews of policies to ensure alignment with clients' changing needs
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes that may affect clients' insurance requirements
  • Monitor competitors' offerings to maintain a competitive edge
