Job Summary

The Executive Director of Technology is responsible for developing and executing the company's technology strategy, ensuring our enterprise technology platform aligns with business objectives and adapts to future needs and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology Strategy: Develop and articulate the company's technology strategy to align with business goals and objectives.
  • IT Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and management of scalable and secure IT applications and infrastructure.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Cyber Security: Oversee the organization's cyber security program.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Emerging Technologies: Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential to enhance organization efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Data Management: Oversee the continued development and implementation of data management strategies to ensure data quality, accessibility, and security, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing IT and data management practices.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, Graduate level degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of ten years in a senior technology leadership role required.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity frameworks, enterprise applications, and IT governance practices required. Expertise in leveraging data analytics to generate actionable insights and drive informed decision making required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders required.
Special Considerations

Constant use of vision, hearing, and communication (oral and written in person and via telephone). Frequent concentration, standing, walking, handling, reaching, and grasping. Occasional bending, kneeling, and lifting (up to 25 lbs.). Heavy use of computer and office equipment. Occasional travel will be required. Periodic work outside of standard business hours or on weekends may be required.
