- Identify, assess, and cultivate commercial insurance prospects with both new and existing clients through various communication channels including in-person meetings, online interactions, phone calls, and written correspondence.
- Build and sustain exceptional relationships with clients and prospects through consistent follow-ups, prompt and accurate quotations, and comprehensive account support. Proactively address and respond to all client inquiries.

- Stay current with continuing education requirements and industry developments, including new products, legislation, coverages, and technology to enhance knowledge and performance.
- Possess the necessary insurance license as mandated by state regulations, along with a minimum of two years of experience in personal and commercial lines insurance account management, or equivalent work experience complemented by a Bachelor's Degree.
- Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of insurance products, rating and underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry practices to effectively secure new business and maintain existing accounts.
- Demonstrate a successful track record in business-to-business sales, with strong skills in presentation, persuasion, and negotiation, along with the ability to close sales effectively.
- Be client-oriented, customer-focused, and assertive in establishing new client relationships and servicing current clients.
- Possess excellent organizational abilities, capable of completing complex tasks independently, with sound business judgment, strong decision-making skills, and superior written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Exhibit exceptional time management skills, thrive in a collaborative environment, and demonstrate proficiency in technology and computer systems, including agency management software.
