Job Description

Business Development Manager Role

Molex is a leading provider of innovative connectivity solutions. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our Optical Connectivity products in the Data Center market.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Establish a strong understanding of the Data Center market and its requirements.
  2. Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth in the Data Center market.
  3. Collaborate with the Molex Sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  4. Work with Product Management to develop value propositions for Molex solutions.
  5. Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide consultative selling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or Sales Account Manager with a track record of success.
  • Understanding of value pricing and customer negotiation.
  • Experience working in a global environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Data Center requirements related to Optical Solutions.
  • Ability to develop value propositions in customers' language.

What We Offer

Molex offers a competitive salary range of $150,000-$200,000 per year, as well as variable pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
