Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Lam Research. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, and/or joint ventures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue for the Etch Upgrades product line by working with various stakeholders within Lam.
  • Drive GM% for the Etch Upgrades product line by working with various stakeholders within Lam.
  • Execute product market share and profitability objectives.
  • Recommend deal closure strategies.
  • Own single product deals and be the first-level approver for Etch upgrades.
  • Communicate individual deals with the PL BD head, PL head, and CSBG BD teams.
  • Be the primary factory interface to field personnel and customers.
  • Be the primary factory interface to internal and external business stakeholders.
  • Work with field teams to identify applications for Penetrations & Defence; P&D tracking; own on SAM for application P&D activity.
  • Drive market-winning strategies for share and profitability (create and drive SPS for single products).
  • Collaborate with CSBG BD, PL Marketing, Field Process, and Sales teams on competitor process performance / price / t-put and other key aspects.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have an MS or Ph.D. in either Engineering (Chemical, Material Science, Mechanical) or Sciences or an MBA (General Management, Marketing, or Operations specialization) and 10 years or equivalent experience in the Semiconductor Equipment industry or Semiconductor Manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Etch wafer fabrication equipment.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $129, $272.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company-mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
