Position Overview
The Field Service Engineer plays a crucial role in delivering technical guidance and support to clients regarding the operation and upkeep of company products.

Act as the primary point of contact for customers facing technical and service-related challenges. Showcase the functionality and benefits of our products.

Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, quality assurance, and research and development teams to resolve customer issues, identify corrective measures, and ensure follow-up.

This role may cover a specific geographical area.


Key Responsibilities
  • Install, test, operate, maintain, repair, and enhance equipment within the timelines set by service management.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance according to established protocols and maintain performance and maintenance logs for the equipment.
  • Provide training and guidance to customer staff on operational, maintenance, and inspection procedures.
  • Investigate equipment malfunctions to identify causes and recommend solutions.
  • Offer advice and support for design modifications aimed at enhancing equipment efficiency or reducing operational costs.
  • Participate in the planning phase of installations as needed.
  • Uphold customer satisfaction through effective communication regarding services rendered, arrival times, and any service-related issues; maintain a positive company image and professional appearance as defined by service management.
  • Efficiently manage company resources, including vehicles, computers, inventory, testing equipment, and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and programs related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems.

Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar field-based repair role.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain credit approval for a corporate credit card.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Independent and analytical thinking.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and willingness to work extended hours as required.
  • Availability for work exceeding 40 hours per week, including weekends, holidays, and after-hours as necessary.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Must meet all requirements for access to customer sites, including compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in any reasonable work activities as assigned by management.

Compensation: $55, $66,539.00 annually
