Key Responsibilities:


As a Compliance Risk Analyst, you will report directly to the Compliance Manager and play a vital role in ensuring adherence to relevant insurance laws and regulations across our operational states.

  • Regulatory Oversight: Manage and submit necessary state regulatory filings, including annual rate and rule submissions, business entity registrations, and NAIC licensing.
  • Communication with Regulators: Prepare responses to inquiries from regulatory bodies and draft necessary documentation for compliance approval.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to establish and uphold compliance policies and procedures.
  • Compliance Committee Participation: Actively engage in the Compliance Committee to maintain and update the Compliance Calendar.
  • Monitoring Legal Changes: Stay informed on legal and regulatory developments to assess their impact on business operations.
  • Research and Support: Provide compliance research for various jurisdictions and manage responses to regulatory inquiries.
  • Industry Engagement: Maintain connections with industry associations to stay updated on compliance trends.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk evaluations and compliance audits to identify potential regulatory challenges.
  • Corrective Action Development: Collaborate with the Compliance Manager to create and implement strategies for addressing compliance issues.
  • Training Coordination: Partner with IT to develop compliance training for employees, focusing on data security protocols.
Qualifications:


Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related discipline is preferred, with an advanced degree being advantageous.

Certifications: Preferred designations include ARM, ARC, ACP, or CCP.

Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years in insurance operations and compliance/risk management, with 3-5 years specifically in researching state insurance regulations and facilitating department filings.
