Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of the residential community, ensuring optimal performance and resident satisfaction.
  • Uphold property standards and enhance the overall appeal of the community.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and address their needs effectively.
  • Facilitate tenant relations and promote a sense of community.
  • Lead leasing and marketing initiatives to attract new residents.
  • Supervise maintenance activities and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Adhere to regulations and maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, along with financial reporting.
  • Lead and mentor the property management team, fostering professional growth.
  • Implement strategies to increase occupancy rates and reduce delinquency.
  • Oversee the office and leasing team operations.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in residential property management.
  • Possession of a valid DC Property Manager license.
  • Tax Credit Specialist Certification is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Excel, Word, and Yardi.
  • Availability for occasional weekend work.
