Job Overview

NOFS is seeking a skilled Mortgage Inspector to conduct inspections on residential properties to ensure occupancy status. As a Mortgage Inspector, you will work independently to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct residential property inspections to verify occupancy status and deliver delinquency letters.
  • Utilize inspection software and tools to document and report findings.
  • Take photos of properties and deliver documents as needed.
  • Meet performance metrics and deadlines.
  • Communicate with account managers in a professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspections.

Requirements

  • Driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Background check to obtain Aspen Grove number.
  • 6 months of experience in the inspections field or as a 1099 employee.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Proficiency with technology and ability to learn new software and tools quickly.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Benefits

We offer a fee for each inspection, which varies by location and volume. You can expect to earn between $20 and $30 per hour. As a contractor, you will also have the opportunity to set your own schedule and work autonomously.
