The State of Vermont is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated individual to fill the role of Business Application Support Specialist. This position provides first-level support for systems that support the operations of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and manage Active Directory services, including user and group account management, policy enforcement, and directory maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and collaborate with vendors to resolve network-related issues, including connectivity problems, bandwidth utilization, and network hardware failures.
- Coordinate with the Internet Service Provider (ISP) vendor to ensure stable and reliable internet connectivity.
- Create reports related to user-level access and utilization.
- Bachelor's degree AND two (2) years technical-level experience working in a business environment using an enterprise application system.
- OR Associates degree in business or computer science AND four (4) years experience at a technical level working in a business environment using an enterprise application system.
- OR Six (6) years experience at a technical level working in a business environment using an enterprise application system.
