Mental Health Support Specialist

Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Unit, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient observations and provide support to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with the clinical team to address patient needs and concerns.
- Participate in recovery-oriented activities to promote patient engagement and rehabilitation.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform safety checks as needed.
- Collaborate with nursing professionals to create a healing environment for patients.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent with related experience required; Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
- Certification: AHA CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers.
- Experience: Possesses a broad practical understanding of life experiences and the ability to relate to emotionally ill individuals.
- Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate good problem-solving skills.
