Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned growth marketing professional to join our team as a Director of Growth Marketing. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of cutting-edge products and empowering entrepreneurs to raise capital and disrupt industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and Oversee a High-Performing Team

As a Director of Growth Marketing, you will be responsible for building and overseeing a high-performing deal marketing team. This team will be responsible for consistently delivering exceptional results and driving growth for our clients.

Develop and Execute a Multi-Channel Marketing Plan

You will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-channel, integrated marketing plan to reach potential investor audiences. This will involve crafting compelling fundraising narratives to guide communications and sell the investment opportunity to prospective investors.

Lead Customer Calls and Develop Strategic Partnerships

You will lead customer calls with CEOs/founders and their teams, developing strategic partnerships and creating deal flow for our customers and partners.

Design and Implement Internal Systems and Processes

You will be responsible for designing and implementing internal systems, processes, and tools to enhance fundraising outcomes and scale operations.

Oversee Campaign Performance Tracking and Analysis

You will oversee and build campaign performance tracking, analysis, and reporting on marketing activities in conjunction with the wider Capital Department team.

Requirements

  • 5-8 Years of Experience in Customer Acquisition and/or Growth Marketing

You should have 5-8 years of experience in customer acquisition and/or growth marketing, with a proven track record of driving sales conversion and building high-performing teams.

Relationship Building and Partnership Development

You should be a relationship builder who is skilled at establishing and nurturing channel partnerships that effectively convert to qualified prospects.

Leadership and Team Management

You should be an adept leader who specializes in assembling and nurturing skilled marketing teams, ensuring they are empowered and aligned to meet business objectives.

Marketing Analytics and Data-Driven Strategies

You should be a marketing analytics expert who excels at developing data-driven strategies and building out analytics capabilities.

Copywriting and Content Creation

You should have previous experience copywriting, with a strong emphasis on driving sales conversion, startups, and financial content.

Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills

You should have meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

Creativity and Adaptability

You should be a creative, curious thinker who thrives in startup environments, where ambiguity and uncertainty are the norm.

Effective Communication and Collaboration

You should be an effective communicator who is clear, responsive, and diligent.

Proficiency in Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets or Word, Powerpoint, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Marketing Experience at a Fast-Growing Company or Venture Fund

You should have marketing experience at a fast-growing company, venture fund, or an entrepreneurial background (including as a founder).

Experience Writing for a Business Audience

You should have experience writing for a business audience; storytelling and experience writing investor communications a plus.

Previous Experience in Fundraising, Client Services, or at a Venture Firm, Accelerator, or Agency

You should have previous experience in fundraising, client services, or at a venture firm, accelerator, or agency.

Experience with Reg CF Platforms

You should have experience with Reg CF platforms (Wefunder, Republic, DealMaker, etc).

Advanced Degrees, Especially an MBA or a Management-Related Degree
