About the Role

This role is based in our Cloudflare office in Dubai Internet City, UAE. As a Named Account Executive, you'll be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy for assigned accounts, driving large account sales to achieve revenue targets, and building long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.

You'll work closely with cross-functional resources, channel and alliance partners to penetrate targeted lists of named accounts, develop account plans, build relationships, and lead effective sales campaigns to successful closure. The ideal candidate will possess named accounts sales experience in related technology solutions, primarily software-based (SASE, ZT, FAAS, CASB, WAF, SWG, RBI, DDOS), and industry experience selling into Government, manufacturing, BFSI, Service Providers, Energy, and other Enterprise verticals in the assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sales cycles and contract negotiations in a matrix organization
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Work with channel and alliances relevant to the accounts whenever appropriate
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic (French is a plus)
  • Proven direct touch selling experience with a track record of achieving/overachieving targets, and relationships with key decision makers within large complex accounts across the assigned territory
  • 15+ years of technology selling experience with at least 8 years of selling to the largest enterprise accounts
  • Manage all milestones of a complex sales cycle, uncovering opportunities, qualifying, developing, and closing
  • 8+ years of direct selling experience working for a cybersecurity vendor in related technologies such as SASE, ZT, FAAS, CASB, WAF, SWG, RBI, DDOS
  • Understanding of computer networking and 'how the Internet works'
  • Computer engineering or computer science degree or similar studies background
  • Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Highly experienced working with Salesforce and BI tools
  • Full knowledge of the competition landscape, market trends, and ability to do competitive displacements at major enterprise accounts level
