Position Summary:

As a Lead Embedded Systems Engineer, you will provide technical guidance within the Engineering Team at Smart Wires. Your expertise will be crucial in the development and upkeep of next-generation products, collaborating closely with diverse teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee technical aspects of the firmware team
  • Contribute to the architectural framework and high-level design of firmware
  • Coordinate efforts with both onshore and offshore firmware development teams
  • Manage the delivery of product variations and resource allocation
  • Update stakeholders on project progress
  • Ensure that system integration aligns with established specifications
  • Adapt development timelines to resolve urgent challenges

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, or Systems Engineering
  • 5-8 years of experience in firmware or software development
  • Experience collaborating with offshore teams
  • Strong foundation in electrical and software engineering
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, FPGAs, and programmable devices
  • Experience with power electronics systems and control logic
  • Proficient in CI/CD tools, version control systems, and project management methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience in firmware development for power electronics
  • Skills in control circuit analysis and data trend evaluation
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proficient in Jira and agile project management practices
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, collaborative environment

Work Environment:

This position allows for a hybrid work model, with opportunities for remote work.

Travel Expectations:

Occasional travel may be necessary, both within the country and internationally.
