Position Overview:
As a Lead Facilities Engineering Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the oversight and enhancement of our operational facilities at KBI BioPharma. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage modifications, maintenance, and administration of company facilities and equipment.
- Direct engineering projects, focusing on both technical and project management aspects to ensure successful outcomes.
- Oversee technical components including architectural features, structural/civil elements, biotech processes, laboratory systems, HVAC, utilities, electrical systems, and automation.
- Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments while collaborating with stakeholders and coordinating with contract engineers and trade contractors.
- Support maintenance operations across multiple locations, ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of commissioning and validation protocols.
- Contribute to quality systems including CAPA, Change Control, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for installed systems.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in facilities development and maintenance.
- Preferred experience in facilities management within a cGMP manufacturing environment, particularly in biotech or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Familiarity with operational standards typical to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
- Ability to work with hazardous materials and equipment, with a readiness to travel between sites as needed.
- Must be available for off-hours response to system anomalies and occasional weekend work.
