Key Responsibilities
- Drive strategic initiatives and lead research projects in advanced technology applications.
- Serve as Principal Investigator on key programs, ensuring successful execution and delivery of project goals.
- Engage in proposal development and program capture to secure funding for innovative research.
- Design, implement, and evaluate mathematical algorithms for diverse applications in signal processing and machine learning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges.
- Prepare and deliver presentations of research findings to stakeholders and technical audiences.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading research programs and writing successful proposals.
- Strong proficiency in numerical methods and computational techniques.
- Experience in machine learning, image processing, and signal processing.
- Familiarity with programming in Python and knowledge of CUDA and GPU programming is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Citizenship Requirements
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and able to obtain a security clearance.
