Position Title: Mechanical Systems Engineer

Position Overview: We are in search of a Mechanical Systems Engineer who excels in developing assembly models, producing assembly documentation, and managing engineering modifications. This role will require significant involvement in experimental design and validation testing of engineering concepts. Key responsibilities include conducting tests, maintaining comprehensive test documentation, creating tools and fixtures to facilitate production, and converting marketing specifications into product requirements.

Compliance and Safety: A critical aspect of this position involves ensuring adherence to product safety regulations, including compliance with CE and FDA laser safety standards, as well as overseeing the product development phase gate process throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Client Interaction: This role is customer-facing, necessitating direct engagement with clients to understand their needs and expectations.

Employment Type: This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.

Work Environment: The position requires full onsite presence, operating on a 9/80 schedule, which allows for every other Friday off. Flexibility in working hours is available, but collaboration with the operations team is essential.
