We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our regional electrical engineering team. As a Regional Electrical Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for developing and delivering electrical strategies to support manufacturing activities across our sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Development: Provide support and leadership to site-based electrical teams, helping to develop and mentor team members to improve their skills and competency in electrical equipment.
- Electrical Standards and Compliance: Drive improvement in standards and compliance with respect to local regulation, company standards, and industry best practices in electrical engineering and related topics.
- Engineering Compliance Program: Support the Engineering Compliance program, working on aspects of engineering outside electrical specialization, in collaboration with global, regional, and site engineering teams.
- Project Management: Establish effective relationships with site leads and key professional engineering suppliers to support the delivery of projects and maintenance of site assets and infrastructure.
- Electrical Maintenance Strategy: Help manage the company's electrical engineering standards and support electrical maintenance strategy for GSK.
- Quality and Risk Management: Perform duties in a compliant manner, behave in accordance with our Quality Management System requirements, and ensure cGMP standards are maintained.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer with Professional Engineer (PE) status.
- Experience: Proven technical knowledge of manufacturing plant operational maintenance management with broad experiences across several production facilities.
- Authorized Person: Authorized person for HV electrical work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Leadership Experience: Held an electrical engineering position of authority in a multi-site/country portfolio.
- Project Planning and Management: Experience in project planning and management of electrical infrastructure investments.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Superior listening skills, analytical ability to diagnose problems, resolve conflict, and develop practical solutions.
- Regulatory Experience: Experience in direct interfacing with local electrical regulatory authorities and suppliers.
- Operational Maintenance Management: In-depth demonstrable experience in operational maintenance management and asset management of electrical systems.
