The U.S. Consumer Services and Enterprise Digital & Data Technology Team integrates essential strategic technology capabilities, including digital experience engineering, AI/ML, marketing technology, enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and automation, all grounded in a robust data governance and management model. This team focuses on developing customer-facing capabilities that enhance digital engagement and core technical functions that span various business lines and customer segments.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving USCS and EDD Tech strategic initiatives that accelerate our progress. Our mindset is centered on continuous improvement and innovation, always asking, "How can we transition from good to exceptional?" Your leadership will guide engineering programs and facilitate collaboration with partners across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a proactive leader for USCS and EDD Tech, collaborating with stakeholders across technology to advance strategic programs.
  • Drive key initiatives aligned with the Technology Strategy of the USCS and EDD Tech organization.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of software design principles.
  • Lead technical program discussions, addressing architectural approaches and system designs while documenting solutions.
  • Engage with a diverse array of stakeholders (Technology, Product, Business, Privacy, Risk, etc.) to spearhead strategic initiatives.
  • Create a multi-year plan and roadmap, emphasizing iterative delivery and key milestones.
  • Oversee roadmap implementation, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget while incorporating lessons learned.
  • Monitor progress against milestones and risks, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Identify gaps, issues, risks, and opportunities across teams, addressing impediments as necessary.
  • Facilitate change management and release management activities.
  • Identify and manage complex inter-team technical dependencies.
  • Clarify objectives and navigate ambiguity, advocating for simplification and influencing teams.
  • Manage project budgets and reporting, familiar with colleague and contractor/vendor resource budgeting.
  • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills, effectively engaging with third parties and technology/product managers.
  • Utilize technical expertise to offer design alternatives and assist teams in resolving issues.
  • Experience with Rally agile delivery management platform is a plus.
  • Experience in Distributed Systems and Cloud Engineering.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to align on architectural strategies and technical execution.
  • Communicate scope changes, resource needs, and financial implications to senior management clearly and promptly.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Identify operational risks and controls, working with impacted teams for remediation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Take ownership of the program and demonstrate a self-starting attitude.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and a proactive approach while enjoying the work.
Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of independent decision-making on projects.
  • Ability to lead change in dynamic environments and influence peers and leaders.
  • Experience in driving innovative changes and improvements.
  • 7+ years of Software Project Management experience, including Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret technology and product objectives and support team delivery.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with successful stakeholder engagement.
  • Resilience in navigating uncertainty and overcoming challenges.
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset for simplifying complex problems and making data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and understanding of technology integration.
  • Preferred experience in partner integrations and M&A management.
  • Track record of driving strategic roadmaps from vision to execution.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with insight into industry trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple demands in a matrixed organization.
  • Collaborative team player focused on resolving challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience in software delivery.
Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
