Lead Technical Program Manager

We are seeking Lead Technical Program Managers to become integral members of our team in New York. In this role, you will collaborate across various departments to drive significant initiatives from initial strategy through to post-launch evaluation. You will engage closely with both internal and external partners, ensuring your contributions directly influence our mission. As a key engineering liaison, you will play a vital role in planning and executing development projects. Your efforts will enhance productivity and accelerate our progress towards our objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Navigate Current's core technology landscape, securing approvals and eliminating obstacles with, or on behalf of, our internal stakeholders to keep projects on schedule.
- Oversee all facets of projects, encompassing both technical elements (product development, data flows) and non-technical aspects (compliance and contractual obligations). You will formulate implementation strategies and timelines with our partners, ensuring accountability.
- Effectively manage relationships with stakeholders, including executives and board members, even those not directly involved in the projects.
- Identify, assess, and communicate project risks and challenges to engineering and product teams.
- Maintain detailed records, tracking, and reporting for meetings, project activities, and follow-up items.
- Provide leadership to project teams by inspiring and motivating team members to achieve project objectives while adhering to their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Promote continuous improvement in project management practices, contributing ideas, recommending tools, and updating processes as necessary.
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management within consumer products, payments, cloud services, security, or financial networks.
- Hands-on engineering experience is essential.
- Experience in data analytics environments is highly desirable.
- Proficient in development process frameworks, understanding that diverse strategies are required for varying situations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to work autonomously while ensuring transparency and collaboration with a broader team.
- Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) and GitHub products is a plus.
