Job Title: Head of DevOps

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of DevOps to join our team at Unreal Gigs. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping our DevOps strategy and leading our team to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • DevOps Strategy Leader: Define and implement a comprehensive DevOps strategy that aligns with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Pipeline and Automation Architect: Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure that code is delivered quickly and reliably, and automate processes wherever possible.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management and scaling of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, resilient, and able to handle increasing loads.
  • Process Improvement Champion: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices that enhance team productivity and system reliability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Security and Compliance Steward: Ensure that all DevOps practices meet the highest standards of security and compliance.
Requirements:
  • DevOps Mastery: Extensive experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud management.
  • Leadership Excellence: Proven experience leading and mentoring DevOps teams, with a track record of delivering reliable, scalable systems.
  • Automation Expertise: Deep understanding of automation tools and practices, with a passion for reducing manual processes and increasing efficiency.
  • Infrastructure Know-How: Strong background in managing cloud infrastructure, with experience in scaling systems to meet growing demands.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
