Your responsibilities will include offering strategic direction and oversight in the operations and planning of Information Technology Services (ITS), setting clear objectives, formulating policies, and supervising staff with a focus on independent judgment and minimal oversight.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Leads program initiatives and operational functions within the division by establishing performance benchmarks and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Manages the formulation of the departmental budget, collaborates with financial teams for budget assessments, and delivers precise analyses to ITS leadership.
- Creates and applies methodologies for assessing program effectiveness and recognizing necessary adjustments, aligned with business goals.
- Sets strategic objectives in line with the agency's mission, spearheading the development of the agency's strategic framework.
- Formulates policies, procedures, and guidelines, monitors adherence, and guarantees departmental efficiency.
- Plans, develops, and endorses timelines, priorities, and criteria for achieving objectives, directing evaluation efforts within designated operational sectors.
- Acts as the agency's representative in various business forums and serves as a liaison for ITS-related matters.
- Reviews and endorses management, productivity, and financial documentation, providing guidance based on thorough investigations.
- May devise and supervise the execution of both long-term and short-term strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Designs and implements IT Governance policies and procedures to synchronize business objectives with compliance mandates.
- Oversees staff performance through daily supervision, offering guidance and fostering opportunities for professional growth.
- Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expertise in operational management related to software development, system administration, project oversight, and quality assurance.
- Understanding of public administration principles and management practices.
- Proficient in project planning, root cause analysis, and delivering impactful training sessions.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and capable of analyzing technical data for effective goal setting and prioritization.
- Adept at problem-solving, managing program activities, and communicating effectively across all organizational levels.
- Strong interpersonal capabilities, with the ability to lead teams and work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
