About the Role
The COMPTROLLER OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTS is seeking a highly skilled Senior.NET Developer to join our team. As a Senior.NET Developer, you will be responsible for creating software solutions for Microsoft.NET based legacy applications and new development of modernizing legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions using modern technologies, tools, and techniques.
- Perform unit and integration testing by coding and debugging software solutions.
- Research new technology trends and recommend scalable solutions to the agency.
- Implement software solutions by adopting industry best practices and following CPA's IT standards/practices, architecture, and vision.
- Develop systems documentation and automate development processes as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or management information systems.
- At least six years of work experience in programming web applications using Microsoft.NET based technology.
- At least six years of work experience in supporting applications with a relational database.
- At least six years of work experience in problem analysis, resolution, and testing.
- At least two years of work experience in application architecture and design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrum Developer certification from an accredited organization.
- Experience with MVC based legacy technology website development and microservices/micro-frontend-based modern software development paradigm using Microsoft.NET environment (C#, REACT, JavaScript,.NET Core, microservices architecture, etc.) with databases SQL Server/MongoDB and/or DB2.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodology as a developer.
- Experience working with DevOps pipeline.
- Experience with complex applications security requirements.
