We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Digital Scholarship Services team. As the Head of Digital Scholarship Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of digital scholarship initiatives, collaborating with faculty and researchers to support their digital scholarship needs, and providing leadership and guidance to the Digital Scholarship Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement digital scholarship initiatives that support the research and teaching needs of the University community
  • Collaborate with faculty and researchers to provide guidance and support on digital scholarship projects
  • Lead the Digital Scholarship Team in the development and implementation of digital scholarship services
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Digital Scholarship Team on digital scholarship best practices and emerging trends
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including faculty, researchers, and library staff
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Library Science or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in digital scholarship or related field
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Experience with digital scholarship tools and technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or JavaScript
  • Experience leading/managing projects or groups in a fast-paced, evolving work environment
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
