Job Overview:

The Senior Operations Manager will lead the Services and Supports Operations Team within the Provider Finance Department.

This role is pivotal in guiding and managing the team responsible for overseeing all digital platforms, including the State of Texas Automated Information Reporting System (STAIRS) or its successor, along with providing administrative support and facilitating communication with both internal and external stakeholders regarding inquiries and public engagements.

Key Responsibilities:
(35%) Directs administrative support services for internal stakeholders, which includes processing requisitions and purchasing requests, addressing human resources support needs (such as onboarding, offboarding, asset management, etc.), managing extensive external stakeholder communication, handling open records requests, and executing other assigned administrative tasks.

(25%) Collaborates with internal staff, other departments, and external partners to collect requirements and implement tailored solutions for the State of Texas Automated Information Reporting System (STAIRS) or its successor;

(25%) Formulates and oversees project plans, timelines, and budgets for the Provider Finance Department's website, ensuring compliance with system requirements, ADA accessibility standards, and the provision of accurate, user-friendly information for the public;

(15%) Cultivates and leads a high-performing team through effective hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.

Required Skills and Competencies:
Proficient understanding of administrative operations;

Expertise in developing visually appealing materials, particularly websites, public communications, and reports;

Familiarity with public information act regulations and procedures;

Capacity to collaborate effectively with highly technical personnel;

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills;

Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
