Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Acquisition Program Manager (APM) in evaluating program adherence to schedule and budget constraints.
- Prepare Defense Acquisition Executive Summaries (DAES), Monthly Activity Reports (MAR), and support program management and Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule (IMP/IMS) assessments.
- Supervise resource allocation aligned with program demands.
- Organize meetings, manage calendars, prepare agendas, and deliver briefings on program status to senior leadership.
- Identify requirements and formulate objectives to achieve program goals.

- Collect, analyze, and evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition, sustainment, or modification initiatives using qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

- Comprehend various funding mechanisms, budgetary considerations, and the Central Asset Management (CAM) process.

- Mentor and develop junior Acquisition Support Specialists and other contractor personnel in accordance with Government Program Management Office (PMO) directives, policies, and standard operating procedures.


Qualifications:

Citizenship:
Must be a U.S. citizen

Clearance:
Must possess and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline

Experience:
- 12 years of experience in DoD acquisition programs
- Extensive knowledge of systems acquisition principles, policies, and practices, as outlined in DoDI Operation of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework, AFI 63-101/20-101, along with an understanding of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force.
- Proven ability to plan, research, analyze, and evaluate system acquisition concerning development, production, deployment, and sustainment of weapon systems and associated equipment, as well as to devise plans and recommend effective strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
- Familiarity with different funding types, budgeting processes, and the Central Asset Management (CAM) system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management/scheduling tools such as MS Project.

Preferred Qualifications:
- DAWIA Advanced (formerly Level III) Equivalency in Program Management or Engineering & Technical Management
- Master's degree in Business or a related field
- 10 years of experience in DoD acquisition programs

Benefits & Compensation:


Apogee offers a selection of medical plans, including a high deductible health plan with an HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, along with dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and various paid leaves.

Part-time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis.

The base salary for this role ranges from $113,450 to $145,000 across the U.S., with variations based on specific work locations.

Compensation is determined by various factors, including job-related knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training, and education.
